Those Dreaded Days !

It took a full minute for the realisation to sink in. She had never grasped what had really happened to give her so much pain. And in her time of pain, there was no one to pacify her.

She cried her heart out.
And then looking down, she realised repellent was the only way. The dreaded mosquitoes were back with the first monsoon rains. Rubbing it all over herself, she went back to sleep.

--- My entry for 3 word Wednesday
