ok ... herez the story

1975 :
Plz note : This article is a description of my mind state right now ... am fed up w/ dug roads and traffic jams at all times of the day ...

stranger from australia walks in to india ... turns up in " Gods own country "

stranger : " Jesus ..... look at these roads ....."
he then finds a local who would be willing enough to talk to him , and explain the vagaries to him ....

stranger : "are these roads the way they are coz there aint enough money ?"

local : "oh no ... sir .... "

stranger, scratching his head : "then .... why .... ?? "

local : "oh well ... saar ... that is just to keep outsiders from coming in here, settling down or establishing new work centres"

stranger , now totally confused says "oh umm ..."and returns to australia ...

30 YEARS LATER ..........................

Stranger , back in India , old and grey again lands in " God's own country " .... and poor man, sees the same roads albeit in a worse condition ..... furiously scratching his head ..... he vows not to make the same mistake twice ...... that of getting hold of a local stranger ...... so, he seeks out his acquaintance amidst a maze of dug, cut and
broken roads criss crossed with vehicles and people .....

stranger : " HOLY S*&T !!!!! What the hell is all this ? Aren't u all put to so much trouble ? "

friend : " Of course "

stranger : " and it is raining and all the roads are split open .... what is the meaning of all this ? "

friend : " you see, here , we have a weird custom ... we dig the roads before it rains ... and after rains , works continue ... and then , the roads are tarred by summer , and again dug by the next rains ........ "
stranger : " Great .... i just love u guys " [ sarcastic ... of course ] " Neither do you have respect for each other nor for anyone else ...
not even are u bothered about ur own children who need to navigate these roads ......
"
and with that he walks off ...... will he ever come back ???

I understand your frustation with the things around. But i am sure things will turn good soon. Please try to see good things around and enjoy. How about trying to raise this issue with some responsible government autorities???
