Yes..there was the time when moon walk happened on the stage with NO Thank you to NASA. His songs live..and he will continue to live through his songs. Man!! He made a dent in the world. That's one heck of a way to live. ____
"Gone Too Soon"
Like A Comet Blazing 'Cross The Evening Sky Gone Too Soon
Like A Rainbow Fading In The Twinkling Of An Eye Gone Too Soon
Shiny And Sparkly And Splendidly Bright Here One Day Gone One Night
Like The Loss Of Sunlight On A Cloudy Afternoon Gone Too Soon
Like A Castle Built Upon A Sandy Beach Gone Too Soon
Like A Perfect Flower That Is Just Beyond Your Reach Gone Too Soon
Born To Amuse, To Inspire, To Delight Here One Day Gone One Night
Like A Sunset Dying With The Rising Of The Moon Gone Too Soon
Hari, Kanagu, Venu maash, Ashok, Jack and Urban Butterfly : Like Sorcerer says, he really has "Gone Too Soon". He never stopped being the "Thriller". wish he had "One More chance"
we all get only one chance to stage our show and we have to do it as beautifully as we can like he did...perhaps.
frankly, Deepa, i prefer Chembai to Jackson, because the former is pleasantly uplifting while the latter is all about... i don't know. you youngsters won't agree with me, i am sure. music, to me, is a peaceful experience.
Venu Maash : MJ was someone i grew up listening to. He was one of the few musicians whose songs were allowed at home, the rest being in the genre of beeGees, Bach, Beethoven , Moody Blues etc. though he was an entertainer, loved certain things he did in life, esp the incidents that lead to the song "Gone Too Soon" Chembai ... hmmm ... not a favourite .. but MDR is my v v v favourite ... love his gamkhas and just about every rendition of his. After MDR, it is Pattamal and MLV
